At practice I handed out flyers regarding the meet and transportation. A copy of that flyer can be found here. Please make a note of what time each person is running. There are also two races open to the public (that includes you, parents)! No pre-registration is needed for these.
Please also note the options for getting to the meet. If you or your athlete is hoping to get a ride to the meet with another family, please A)be at the primary at 6:40am, and B)check with other families ahead of time to make sure there is enough room. I would hate for 10 families to show up at 6:40am hoping to drop off their athletes for someone else to transport.
I've made available a list of contact info for parents and athletes on our team. I'll print a copy for everyone at Wednesday morning's practice too. If you see your name/info is missing, please get that to me ASAP.
Currently the Frenches (beverages), DeGraafs (fruit/granola) and the Colemans (yogurt) are signed up to provide food for Saturday. I also have a laundry basket full of food, spoons, etc leftover from the UP trip and RRR that I'll bring. I was thinking I could give it to whoever is signed up for the following meet, and we could pass it along throughout the season, collecting any redeemable leftovers to carry over to the next meet.
- Wed practice is 9am
- Thu practice is 8am
- Fri we are practicing at Ft. Custer (Mountain Biking Trailhead Parking Lot). A recreation passport is required to park there (not to drop off/pick up). Let me know if you need a ride into the park.
- Next week Thursday we are relaying a football from K-Christian to Maskill field (4:45-6:55pm). More details to come, but this will require some parents to do some driving.
And finally, our RRR total is over $1700!!!
